This semi-abstracted, spirited landscape painting workshop delivered by Darlene Kulig is sure to resonate with your senses as you embrace vivid colour and the place we call home. Explore the unique shapes and the quality of light that makes Canada feel like Canada!
Students learn about the importance of value and look at the basic elements of design and colour. The instructor will reference Canadian painters and their take on our beautiful landscapes as students work from a supplied reference or bring a work they are developing.
Darlene’s PEI paintings hang in The Mayo Clinic and her Canadian scenes are in Embassies around the world. For a materials list, please check our website.
Testimonial
“Darlene’s whole approach to teaching (and painting) is so delightful, engaging and life affirming! I’d never really painted before, but the class I’ve just finished with her has started me on a great new journey. I’m really grateful for having had the opportunity to learn from such a gifted artist.”
