“Darlene’s whole approach to teaching (and painting) is so delightful, engaging and life affirming! I’d never really painted before, but the class I’ve just finished with her has started me on a great new journey. I’m really grateful for having had the opportunity to learn from such a gifted artist.”

The Cover Story
To commemorate its 50th anniversary, Arts Etobicoke is excited to present an exhibition at its Storefront Gallery featuring 50 unique cover designs created by artists who have collaborated with Arts Etobicoke over the years.
These exceptional sketchbooks will be available for bidding in an exclusive online auction that will be live for two weeks in June.
The artists’ sketchbooks are a place where ideas come to life and inspiration is transformed into art. It’s a creative space that’s full of thoughts, sketches, mistakes, revisions, and experiments, like an extension of the artist’s mind.
